Our epoxy floor installation and extras
Our standard epoxy floor installation typically includes:
- Concrete inspection;
- Concrete moisture testing;
- Diamond grinding;
- Repair and patching of minor cracks, holes, or cuts over concrete;
- One coat of pigmented primer;
- Medium broadcast of Flakes (if applicable) over primer;
- One coat of clear Polyurea topcoat sealer over flakes;
- One year Standard Epoxy Foxy Inc. warranty

Preparing the floor:

Diamond Grinding
The concrete floor will fail if the coating doesn’t bond properly to the concrete floor, so preparation is the most important part before applying any epoxy floor installation.

Patches and Filling
To ensure a smooth epoxy surface, we patch and fill all existing holes, cracks, and dents on the concrete floor.

Cracks Leveling ($)
When cracks are too deep or unleveled, we might need additional leveling material. This is an extra option not included with our standard installation.

Cove Base ($)
Some clients like a cove base visual, others want to ensure additional moisture protection to their floor. For those, we recommend additional cove base installation.
Number of Coats:

1-Coat System
Our 1-Coat Epoxy System is used when you choose Grind and Seal.
Here, we grind your floor and only apply one coat of clear epoxy to seal and protect your floor.

2-Coat System
Our 2-Coat Epoxy System includes our traditional preparation, 1 coat of epoxy primer, and 1 coat of epoxy sealer on top. Flakes can be used in between.

3-Coat System
Flakes ($)

3-Coat System
Solids ($)
Flakes Broadcast:

Light Broadcast
The primer is the main color on this floor, with the flakes serving as an accent color.

Standard Broadcast
A great balance of color that values both the primer pigment and the flakes combination. Our most popular flake style.

Full Broadcast ($)
When you look at your floor, the color of the primer becomes almost irrelevant. Flakes are very evident and rough to the touch unless combined with our 3-coat system.

Glitter ($)
Adds a captivating sparkle and aesthetic beauty to your surfaces. Mostly used on commercial floors (beauty salons, spas, and more) but also a great choice on residential surfaces.
Moving Services:

Washer/Dryer Move-Out
If you need help to move a washer and/or dryer out of your garage, our team will be happy to help at no extra charge. just let us know ahead.

Move In/Out Garage ($)
Items other than your washer and your dryer are not moved by our team. If you need help, an additional charge might be incurred. The same applies if you need help moving things back in.
Other Extras:

Coating Removal ($)
Our standard installation does not cover the removal of carpet, tiles, vinyl, or other types of floor. We typically expect to work directly on bare concrete floors.

Matte Finish ($)
Some clients like a cove base visual, others want to ensure additional moisture protection to their floor. For those, we recommend additional cove base installation.

Anti-Skid ($)
Our Anti-Skid surface is ideal for those looking for a rough floor that creates positive traction and reduces the possibility of slipping and falling.

Low VOCs ($)

Floor Transition ($)
If your floor gets a lot of Sun and might fade where the garage closes, a solution is to consider a floor transition.

Moisture-Block ($)
We test all floors for moisture. If we detect moisture on your floor, it’s your choice to opt in or out of our moisture block. We can’t offer our warranty if moisture is detected and no moisture block is used.

Same-Day Service ($)
We understand that sometimes 2-3 days can be too long to wait for your epoxy floors. Our same-day installation is an additional alternative to these scenarios.
